Services

Overview

Utilising our extensive medical knowledge, we provide independent occupational health services across various business sectors – including the finance, retail, manufacturing, service, cleaning, food production and energy sectors. Our goal is to maximise employees’ mental and physical health and wellbeing, which in turn will

improve their productivity and performance.

Our services include the following:

Workstation assessment

Otherwise known as an ‘ergonomic assessment’, we assess a workstation to

minimise any negative impacts on health. Our assessment and expert advice centre

on a range of factors as required, such as infection control (e.g. COVID-19), display

screen optimisation, equipment/seat positioning, reasonable adjustments for medical requirements, new user inductions and input device choice.

Adapting the user’s workstation to their exact needs will make them more comfortable and productive, as

well as reduce health-related issues and absences.

Workplace assessment

Similar to our workstation assessment services, we assess a workplace area, job

role or entire workplace for safety and efficiency – looking at physical, environmental and ergonomic factors.

Such assessments are made with reference to all relevant regulatory requirements (e.g. the Equality Act 2010), with a focus on making

reasonable adjustments to promote employees’ health, wellbeing and performance.

Health promotion

Our health promotion services are designed to improve employees’ health, reducing their risk of illness and disease (and therefore sickness-related absences). Healthier employees are also happier employees. We can support an employer’s health promotion activities in a variety of ways: from providing leaflets and hosting training courses to offering bespoke advice to specific employees.

While we can concentrate on employees’ general health, we also offer targeted

services that focus on areas such as:

ï‚·-  Diet and healthy living

ï‚·-  Physical activity

ï‚·-  Alcohol and smoking

ï‚·- Mental wellbeing

ï‚·- Recognising the symptoms of common conditions

ï‚·- Reducing infection (e.g. COVID-19) transmission
